LASER COOLING OF YTTERBIUM ATOMS

Now we are interested in the following subjects.

Searches for a permanent electric dipole moment (EDM) in ytterbium , which are a proof of a time-reversal symmetry breaking.
An Bose-Einstein condensation of the atomic Ytterbium, and study of its many body, as well as optical properties.
